Welcome to my first post!
I am creating this blog for main purpose of recording my experiences with a program called ILP in a cute and fun way. And since blogs are easily accessible, I'll also be able to share it with everyone. I know!! I discovered ILP (International Language Programs) through a good friend of mine Desiree Moore who was involved with the program in Fall 2011! She went to China, but I will be going to Russia. What is this fancy little ILP program you say? It is a non-profit organization where young college age students volunteer in a variety of countries and teach kids English. I am going with my two best friends Destiny and Nicole.

We all go to different colleges right now but will reunite soon.
YEAH, it's only to RUSSIA!! To the huge city of Moscow. We will be there together teaching English to children of all ages...for a grand total of four months!! I have never been away from home for that long but I know there are life-changing experiences that are ready, just waiting for me. Our program goes mid-August to mid-December. I am so excited for this and I can't even believe I have this chance to go do something great like this.

Along with documenting our experiences as teachers in a new land, I want to share the things I'm learning about Russia with you. I hope that you are able to discover things you never knew and that you like my blog. Thanks for reading, more to come. :)
